These terms govern your use of this website and any work Kalenfy ("we", "us") does for you. By using the site or hiring us, you agree to them. Questions: info@kalenfy.com.

01What we do

Kalenfy is a free website-security scanner. You enter a website address and we generate a free report of the security issues we find from public information — DNS and email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, DNSSEC, CAA) and, where applicable, TLS, security headers and exposed files. The scan is passive and non-intrusive. If you'd like the issues fixed, we're developers and can do that for you as a separate, optional engagement agreed with you directly.

02The scan and report are free

The scan and the PDF report are free and carry no obligation. We never hold a problem hostage and we do not charge to tell you something is wrong. There is nothing to buy on this website.

03If you ask us to fix the issues

• Any fixing work is optional and separate from the free scan. We only start if you ask us to and we agree the scope with you directly (by email or another channel).
• We'll confirm what we'll do, and any fee, with you in writing before that work begins — no obligation, no automatic charge, and no pricing on this website.

04Before we start — your responsibilities

• You confirm you own the website or are authorised to request changes to it. We only work on sites with proper authorisation.
• You provide the access we reasonably need (and remove it afterwards if you wish).
• You're responsible for the legality of your own content and business.

05How we work

We back up before we touch anything, make changes carefully, and verify the site works as before — just secure. We explain what we changed in plain English. We act with reasonable skill and care.

06No absolute-security guarantee

Security is never absolute. We fix the issues within the agreed scope and harden your site, but no one can guarantee a site can never be attacked or that new vulnerabilities won't appear later. Optional ongoing monitoring is available if you want continued protection.

07Payment

The scan and report are free. If you separately engage us to fix issues, payment terms for that work (timing, method and any deposit) are whatever we agree with you in writing before the work begins.

08Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the work is limited to the amount you paid us for that work. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for issues outside the agreed scope or caused by changes made by others after we hand the site back. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

09Cancellation

The free scan has nothing to cancel. If you've engaged us for fixing work, you can stop before it begins at no cost; once it has started, fees for work already done may apply, as agreed.

10Governing law

These terms do not take away any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.
